The University of Fraser Valley is one of the best universities in Canada and is known for student success, excellent teaching, creative integration of programming, and for work with local communities. It is fully accredited public university that enrolls nearly 1500 students every year and has two campuses - the main campus is in Abbotsford and the other is in Chilliwack.
Moreover, UFV has a college of arts and 6 facilities viz faculty of Access and Continuing Education, Applied and Technical Studies, Health Sciences, Professional Studies, Science, and Graduate Studies. Further, UFV offers more than 100 programs, including master’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, majors, and minors in a variety of subjects.
The location of the university is also significant as it is close to the Vancouver urban area, west coast islands, and less than 5 minutes away from the United States.
CodeCore College is proud of our agreement with University of the Fraser Valley collaborating on the development of an LOA for articulation into UFV's Robotics and Automation and Digital Manufacturing Diplomas.
Completed School or Equivalent
Applicants to the program must be Grade 12 or equivalent (B.C. high school diploma, B.C. Adult Graduation Diploma, General Educational Development) or an equivalent secondary school completion from another jurisdiction or the student has mature student status (is 18 or older before the start of classes).
Applicants must have a minimum average grade of 55% or C in their final semester of most recent high school or post-secondary studies.
English Speaking and Writing
To meet the English requirements for the program, applicants must have studied at least 2 years of full-time high school or post-secondary where the language of instruction was in English either in Canada or from a country on CodeCore’s approved list of English speaking countries.
English requirements can also be met with any of the following:
Overall IELTS Band Score of 6(No band score less then 5.5)
PTE Academic — score of 56 with a minimum score of 52 in Writing
TOEFL - score of 80 or higher (iBT) with no section below 19
CAEL - score of 60
